You’re not alone
“A house is no home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body”.
I personally believe that , in our tiring search of happiness, we tend to lose focus on what’s really important. It’s all about getting up each day and deciding to be the best version of yourself, not for the rest of the people but for you. And all in all, you’ll realize that it’ll help everyone around you, not just you. And you’ll also realize that what it used to be a great deal for you, now it’s the simplest rule in your life.
Though I could divide my theory into steps to follow, saying “acceptance is the first step, then comes the joy. After that you’ll start to feel better little by little”. Nope. It’s not useful. Everyone has its on way.
To me, the secret is remembering those moments, the most beautiful experiences you’ve lived, and trying to let them fulfill your heart. Let them travel to each inch of you and give you joy. That way, scarfing the lost pieces of yourself that got stuck in yesterday, you might find the explication you need to go on, because you’ll be covered by the splendorous light of your own truth, the light that makes you strong.
